We have already sent the first interim report on Azerbaijani
armed forces shelling towards the Armenian Tavush region to international
organizations on July 12 and 13
(in English). It was prepared during the night.
The report will be submitted to the UN Human Rights Council by a separate procedure. Only national human rights institutions with
international "A" status have this opportunity.
The report was prepared based on our own sources of information
and fact-finding.
The Human Rights Defender’s office continues monitoring activities, maintaining direct contacts with the residents of Movses and several other villages of Tavush region
and the community administrative bodies, as well as with the RA Ministry of
Defense.
This morning, information was recorded about the Azerbaijani armed
forces shelling towards immediate vicinity of the settlements of Movses and several other villages, those civilian
settlements, the real danger to the health, life and property of their
residents.
