Defender’s assistance a person with a refugee status restored his birth
certificate.
A person with a refugee
status requested the Human Rights Defender’s assistance in restoring his birth
certificate.
He stated that he had
applied to the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency to restore his birth
certificate, but was informed that the application would be rejected due to
lack of documents.
The Human Rights
Defender's Office and the Civil Status Acts Registration Agency of the Ministry
of Justice conducted a joint discussion of the issue. As a result of the
cooperation, the citizen was provided with the birth certificate.
