One of the fundamental issues of human
rights protection is awareness of a person about his/her rights and duties.
Officials also need to know what duties
they have towards a person, and which body has the responsibility or authority
to protect concrete rights of a person, so that they can give the right advice to
that person and the protection is not delayed.
The state has a responsible role in
public awareness.
Today, all these issues were discussed
at the meeting organized by the President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Armen
Sargsyan, in which I participated together with my esteemed colleagues Ms. Zaruhi
Hovhannisyan, Mr. Avetik Ishkhanyan and Mr. Tevan Poghosyan.
