Ms. Hranush
Kharatyan and Mr. Harutyun Marutyan applied to the Human Rights Defender. The
applicants informed that real threats of life-threatening violence were publically
made against them and Mr. Arpenik Marutyan (the daughter of Mr. Marutyan). The
Human Rights Defender’s Office also examined the crime report published by Ms. Hranush
Kharatyan and sent to the law enforcement bodies.
The Human
Rights Defender takes into consideration the clarification by the Prosecutor’s
Office, stating that the crime report was sent to the Police.
The Human
Rights Defender sent official letters to the RA Prosecutor General’s Office and
the RA Police concerning the issue raised in the crime report.
