A contract
serviceman applied for the Human Rights Defender’s assistance in organizing the
military service of his wife in the same military unit where he served.
He informed
that in September 2019 he was transferred to another military unit, while his
wife was not. As a result, due to the distance between his and his wife’s locations
of military service, he was not able to visit his family.
The Human
Rights Defender applied t the Ministry of Defense with a proposal to ensure the
service of the spouses in the same military unit with relevant justifications.
As a result
of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, it was decided to organize the
military service of the spouses in the same military unit.
