In
particular, the citizen applied to the Human Rights Defender requesting
assistance in organizing his self-isolation (due to COVID-19) not at home.
The
applicant informed that his wife had been tested positive for coronavirus,
while he and his daughter tested negative. Therefore, they were offered to
self-isolate at home. The citizen expressed his concern about his parents
belonging to a risk group, since self-isolating at home might endanger their
health.
As a
result of the cooperation between the Human Rights Defender and the Ministry of
Health, the citizen and his daughter were isolated in a hotel.
