An advocate
applied to the Human Rights Defender, informing that his client, who was in
penitentiary institution, was unable to receive the necessary medicine due to
the restrictions imposed in the State of Emergency.
He noted
that the medicine prescribed to the convicted person is always provided by the
relatives, and now, due to the restrictions, the movement of the convict’s
relative is restricted. The Police stopped the relative’s car several times and
sent him back.
As a
result of the cooperation between the Human Rights Defender and the
Commandant’s Office, the necessary instructions were given, allowing the
movement of the convict’s relative for providing medicine.
