The Human Rights Defender Mr. Arman Tatoyan
sent a congratulatory message to the representatives of the Assyrian community
on the occasion of the Assyrian New Year, Hab-Nissan. The message, in
particular, reads:
"Dear representatives of the Assyrian
community in Armenia,
I congratulate you on the occasion of the
Assyrian New Year, Hab-Nisan. May this ancient holiday, which symbolizes the
rebirth of nature, brings health and prosperity to the friendly Assyrian
people.
As the Human Rights Defender, I find it important
that the national minorities living in Armenia have an opportunity to preserve
and develop their national traditions and values, bringing their contribution
to the development of our country.”
