In the
framework of an official visit to Artsakh, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia
Arman Tatoyan accompanied by his Artsakh counterpart made visits to:
- Military police;
- Shushi
Penitentiary Institution;

Stepanakert Central Military Hospital
During
the visits, private interviews were held with soldiers and offices, issues with
regard to protection of their rights were examined in detail, including health
care services and disciplinary proceeding, as well as grounds for criminal
arrest and detention.
Visits
and other activities were carried out taking into account competences of the Human
Rights Defenders of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as complaints addressed to
each country’s Defender and their relevance.
