The
Human Rights Defender is again involved as a party to the public
procurement-related complaint’s investigation.
In
particular, the head of a business company, disagreeing with the results of an
urgent open tender organized for the purchase of containers for household
waste, lodged a complaint to the person examining procurement-related appeals,
meanwhile presenting a motion on involving the Human Rights Defender as a party
to the investigation of the complaint.
On 30
October 2019, the representative of the Human Rights Defender’s Office
participated in the investigation of the complaint as a party and presented the
Defender’s position.
The complaint of the entrepreneur who participated in
public procurement was satisfied.
