The
Human Rights Defender summarized the recommendations presented in the annual communications
and reports of 2016-2018 and submitted to the competent state bodies for
obtaining information on the state of their implementation.
This
is the first time such work has been carried out, where separate columns contain specific recommendations
addressed to the relevant bodies. This activity is aimed at coordinating the Human
Rights Defender's recommendations, as well as facilitating and supporting their
implementation by state and local self-government bodies.
The
initiated process is particularly relevant given that the Government started to
develop the National Strategy for the Protection of Human Rights and
2020-2022 Action Plan.
