During the meeting the parties reflected on the
achievements of the Human Rights Defender’s Institution in international arena,
as well as the cooperation between the offices of the President and the
Defender.
Arman Tatoyan informed that among respective
international structures the Human Rights Defender of Armenia has been recognized
as an institution with leading experience, which is implemented in a number of
countries by the support of these organizations.
The President Sarkissian has emphasized the
importance of the Human Rights Defender’s institution’s role and activities in
all areas related to human rights.
