The
Secretary General of the Human Rights Defender’s Office, Mr. Andranik Yeghoyan,
received a delegation of the International Commission on Missing Persons
(ICMP).
Welcoming
the guests, Mr. Andranik Yeghoyan referred to the activities carried out by the
Defender to protect the rights of missing servicemen and civilians, as well as
those of their family members, presenting the achievements and existing
challenges.
During
the meeting, a number of key issues related to the sector were discussed, as
well as opportunities for strengthening further cooperation and implementing
new initiatives in the areas of human rights protection and promotion.
