On
October 15, as a result of monitoring the mass and social media platform, the
Human Rights Defender's Office received information about the detention of a
group of clergymen of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Regarding
the mentioned case, a call was also received on the hotline of the Defender’s
Office from the attorney.
Based
on the instruction of the Human Rights Defender, the staff's rapid response
group of the Defender’s Office visited the Investigative Committee to get
acquainted, on the spot, with the status of ensuring the rights of persons
deprived of their liberty and the grounds for deprivation of liberty.
