On
September 22, a consultation was held under the leadership of the Human Rights
Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan, with the
participation of the heads of the Human Rights Defender’s Office subdivisions.
Issues
were discussed related to the methodology of organizing the work. In
particular, reference was made to the upcoming changes in the hotline
procedures of the Human Rights Defender's Office, personal data protection,
proper processing of applications and complaints, the regulation of the
reception of citizens and the improvement of the provision of legal advice, and
issues related to the planned reforms in a number of other areas were
discussed.
Ms.
Anahit Manasyan specifically emphasized the importance of implementing the
planned changes promptly and consistently.
At
the end of the consultation, the Defender gave instructions and outlined the
important work areas.
