On
March 17, the Lori Regional Subdivision of the Human Rights Defender's Office
hosted the students of second-year part-time studies students from the Law
Department of "Mkhitar Gosh" Armenian-Russian International
University.
The
purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the Human
Rights Defender’s Office.
Ms.
Zarine Hovhannisyan, Head of the Lori regional subdivision of the Human Rights
Defender’s Office, presented the history of the Office, the Defender's
functions, and the procedure for applying to the Defender.
The
meeting was held in a Q&A format, during which students raised various
questions.
Meetings
with students from educational institutions and representatives of
non-governmental organizations at the Human Rights Defender’s Office, including
in the regional subdivisions, are ongoing.
