On
February 6, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan met with Liana Petrosyan,
a public figure dealing with issues of forcibly displaced persons from
Nagorno-Karabakh.
Welcoming
the guest, Anahit Manasyan emphasized the importance of cooperation with civil
society, as it helps identify pressing issues requiring immediate solutions and
jointly develop appropriate solutions.
The
Defender also emphasized the importance of cooperation with civil society in
protecting the rights of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh.
Various issues related to forcibly displaced persons and the future directions
of ongoing work in this regard were discussed.
In
turn, Liana Petrosyan expressed her gratitude to the Defender for the reception
and the productive discussion.
