The conscript's mother appealed to the RA Human Rights Defender to review whether her son fits for military service or not and submit for additional examination.
According to the applicant, her son has a number of health problems which have not been considered in detail by the Central Medical Commission, for this reason, the latter was declared fit for military service.
The Human Rights Defender discussed the raised issue with the Ministry of Defence, as a result, the conscript was re-submitted for examination by the Central Medical Commission and received a postponement.
It should be noted that many similar issues are getting resolved as a result of the support of the Human Rights Defender and effective cooperation with competent bodies.
