On
June 20, the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan received UN Resident
Coordinator in Armenia Ms. Françoise Jacob.
Welcoming
the guest, Ms. Manasyan presented the scope of powers of the Human Rights
Defender as a constitutional body, the work priorities, directions of activity,
as well as the current challenges in the field of human rights protection in
our country.
The
interlocutors also discussed issues related to the possibility of expanding
cooperation in the field of human rights protection.
In
her turn, Françoise Jacob thanked the Defender for the reception and effective
discussion.
