As a result of the monitoring of the media and social
platforms by the Human Rights Defender's Office, information was received that
on May 2, a group of people were detained from the village of Kirants of Tavush
region.
On the instructions of the Defender, the representatives
of the Defender's Office went to the Ijevan Police Department in order to visit
the detained persons and get acquainted with the state of ensuring their rights
on the spot.
