On
November 13, a training session was held in the Human Rights Defender's office
aimed at developing the abilities of employees, including how to organize the
work more effectively in crisis situations.
The
course entitled "Emotional burnout, secondary trauma, stress: prevention
and overcoming" was organized in cooperation with the Armenian Office of
the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and "Mission
Armenia" NGO.
The
Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan particularly stated in her opening
speech: "Such courses are very important for us, as we always work in
challenging situations. This course is a good opportunity to find ways to
overcome such situations. I want to express my gratitude to our partners for
their cooperation in organizing the event."
During
the training, the representatives of the Human Rights Defender’s office
discussed with the specialists the issues encountered in everyday life,
acquiring new techniques and skills in order to effectively manage them.
