Defender Anahit Manasyan expressed her position regarding the regulation
proposed by the draft law on Amendments to the Law “On Medical Aid and Service
of the Population”.
The position specifically emphasizes the need to transfer
the data considered confidential to the Defender without the consent of the
patient or his/her legal
representative for the effective performance of functions, which is derived
from the international and domestic standards related to the effective implementation
of the Defender's competencies.
