On
May 26, the Defender Anahit Manasyan met with the parents and relatives of
captured servicemen in the settlement of Khtsaberd-Hin Tagher in Shirak
Province.
The
meeting was held at the initiative of Anahit Manasyan.
During
the meeting, the activities related to the issue were presented, the matters of
concern of the relatives were also discussed.
During
the working visit, a meeting was also held with the Governor of Shirak Province
Mushegh Muradyan, and directions of activities aimed at solving problems in the
field of human rights protection in the Province were discussed.
On
the same day, Anahit Manasyan discussed a number of issues with the staff
within the framework of the visit to the Shirak regional department of the
Human Rights Defender’s office and gave recommendations aimed at improving the
work methodology. The Defender also met with the citizens and discussed their
concerns.
