Yesterday,
on April 13, the newly elected Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Manasyan,
got acquainted with the HRD staff.
The
former Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan was also present at the
meeting.
Anahit
Manasyan stated that it is a great honor for her to assume the mission of the
Human Rights Defender and she is happy that the former Defender Kristinne
Grigoryan is also present at the meeting. "Both for me, for Mrs.
Grigoryan, and for all our colleagues, the institutional approach to the
structure is of utmost importance. Thus, it is crucial to symbolically
demonstrate the significance of preserving the traditions that have evolved and
been refined since the establishment of this institution.
Kristinne
Grigoryan, extended her congratulations to Anahit Manasyan on being elected to
the position of Human Rights Defender, and added that the institution is in
very good hands.
