Today, the Human Rights Defender Ms. Kristinne Grigoryan held a meeting with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor of the US State Department Ms. Kara C. McDonald.
During the meeting, the Human Rights defender Ms. Grigoryan presented the situation of the protection of human rights in Armenia.
The Deputy Assistant Secretary Ms. Kara McDonald congratulated Ms. Grigoryan on for the assumption of this important mission, inquired about the priorities of the Human Rights defender, and challenges related to the protection of human rights were discussed.
Concluding the meeting, Ms. Cara McDonald expressed her readiness for further cooperation.
