On May 26-27, the Human Rights Defender, Ms. Kristinne Grigoryan, participated, by the online format, in the 2022 European IOI Conference and General Assembly.
Within the framework of the General Assembly, the issues related to the update on current projects implemented by the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), the future IOI Europe activities, as well as the setting up of working groups aimed at developing a strategy for the relations with EU institutions, and developing a guide of ethical principles for Ombudspersons and their staff members were discussed.
Within the framework of the discussion of agenda issues, Ms. Grigoryan highlighted the importance of developing a guide of ethical principles for Ombudspersons and their staff members, and expressed her interest and readiness to participate in the work carried out by the working group to be set up.
