A new English Report on the situation of the Azerbaijani policy of Armenophobia and enmity after the 44-day war.
The main results of the
Report are:
After the war, the Azerbaijani authorities
have continued the state-sponsored policy of hatred and enmity.
2.
It has two pillars: Ethnic and religious
3.
This is not only rhetoric, but also a real
policy (education, culture, sports, etc.) that has been implemented for years.
Therefore, it is not correct to talk only about rhetoric.
4.
This policy is the reason of the
violations of human rights by the Azerbaijani armed forces, including the
committed war crimes and the atrocities, before, during and after the 44-day
war.
5.
The propaganda of hatred and enmity is a
source of political life for the Azerbaijani authorities, and a means to
distract its population from internal issues; the propaganda has never decreased
and will never do.
6.
Hatred on religious grounds is acquiring
new and extremely dangerous developments, baselessly accusing Armenians of
Islamophobia.
7.
This causes new manifestations of
destruction of churches, the erasing of their Armenian identity, and torture of
Armenian captives.
8.
The Report presents with historical
evidence the respect of the Church of Armenia and our people towards Islam.
9.
The Azerbaijani policy of hatred maintains
the enmity between the two people around the world, and it is also dangerous to
other countries, where Armenians and Azerbaijanis live.
10.
The Azerbaijani calls for peace do not
have honest motives, they are false, and are a veil for the outside world.
Peace is of high value
for us, while enmity is not acceptable. However, peace cannot be established on
the expense of the rights of one side, and peace does not mean hatred.
Therefore, we should not
forget about; we need real guarantees for the protection of our rights.
