On the instructions of
the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, visits were conducted to those servicemen
who were detained after their return to Armenia from Azerbaijani captivity.
Private interviews were
held with them in Armavir and Nubarashen penitentiary institutions; documents
were analyzed, and the status of the protection of their rights, from the
moment from their appearance in captivity, was studied.
The visits were
concluded, based on which letters will addressed to the relevant state bodies.
Other necessary measures will also be undertaken.
