The citizen asked for the
assistance of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia in registering his full
length of service to receive their pension.
Based on the raised
issue, the Human Rights Defender addressed letters to the Ministry of Labor and
Social Affairs.
A clarification was
received, that as a result of relevant inquiries and approvals received, the
citizen’s pension was recalculated from the day they obtained the right to
receive a pension, based on an increased length of service. Hence, the pension
of the citizen was repaid in full.
