On October 11, the Human
Rights Defender of Armenia, Mr. Arman Tatoyan received the delegation led by
the Head of the International Protection Center, Ms. Karinna Moskalenko; the
delegation also included Russian lawyers.
Considering the
experience and specialization of the delegation in the protection of citizens'
rights in the ECtHR, the Human Rights Defender of Armenia presents the unique
experience of appearing as a third-party in the case of Hakobyan v. Armenia in
the ECtHR.
The Head of the
delegation especially praised the initiative of the Human Rights Defender of
Armenia, according to which, in cooperation with non-governmental
organizations, special communications are sent to the Committee of Ministers of
the Council of Europe in connection with the execution of the judgments of the
European Court of Human Rights on Armenia.
The delegation members
also discussed with the Human Rights Defender of Armenia issues related to the
legal sphere.
