The person with
disabilities applied to the Human Rights Defender of Armenia for assistance in
removing the order of confiscation of money from their disability pension
account.
The citizen informed that
money was confiscated from the above-mentioned account, and had addressed a
written application to the Compulsory Enforcement Service. However, the money
was not returned.
As a result of the
cooperation of the Human Rights defender with the Compulsory Enforcement
Service and the bank, the amount confiscated from the disability pension
account was returned to the citizen.
According to the Law on
Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts, the disability pensions given to
persons with disabilities are not subject to confiscation.
