Within
his competence, the Human Rights Defender continues to contribute to the
improvement of the legislative field in Armenia both by drafting legislative
drafts and by providing professional opinion.
The
statistics also demonstrate a significant increase in the number of draft legal
acts submitted to the Defender.
Thus,
in 2016, about 90 draft legal acts were submitted to the Defender for opinion,
144 in 2017, 185 in 2018, 241 in 2019, and 192 in 2020.
