On the 5th of March, 2021, a regular session
of the Expert Council for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities adjunct to the Defender took place, with a translation into sign
language. The session was attended by non-governmental organizations, who are
members of the Council, and independent experts in the field.
During the session of the Expert Council,
issues related to the rights of persons with disabilities were discussed,
including those that arose due to the September-November 2020 war. The results
of the monitoring of the Defender’s Office during martial law were presented to
the members of the Council.
