these responsible days for our county, we more than ever need solidarity and
unity.
Every
state body, in accordance with its competence, has a duty to guarantee the rule
of law in its activities and in the country, and to ensure high protection of
human rights.
The
imperative of solving the issues that our country face, requires each of us to
be vigilant and pay more attention to our words and behavior to ensure an
atmosphere of solidarity and peace in our country. The words and behavior of
public figures play an important role these days, serving as an example of
solidarity and unity.
Regardless
of political or any other view, any development or incident that may lead to
tension should be excluded.
The Office
of the Human Rights Defender works with the maximum available resources and to
the fullest extent of its legal status, operating in an emergency regime. All
measures will be undertaken to protect human rights within the mandate
prescribed to the Defender by law.”- the statement reads.
