I urge to the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social
Affairs and other people in charge, who are directly involved these days in the
process of providing social assistance to people, to realize the constitutional
obligations towards the Human Rights Defender and the seriousness of the
personal status, exclude irresponsible behavior and ensure full cooperation
with our staff.
The staff of the Human Rights Defender operates on an
around-the-clock basis guaranteeing the social rights of our compatriots,
including the families of servicemen.
It should be acknowledged that the purpose of the Human
Rights Defender is to support the state in every possible way, especially in
these difficult days. I regret that I have to make such a public statement.
P.S. I do not consider appropriate to touch upon the
problems we have registered in the sphere for understandable reasons. The next
study is being summarized and will be sent to the competent authorities.
