Today,
under the direct supervision of the Human Rights Defender, 9 working groups operated
at the Defender’s Office related to the assemblies.
Six
groups visited the Yerevan and Gyumri Police units, as well as detention
facilities. One group conducted monitoring of the assemblies being physical
present at the places of assemblies, and another group carried out the monitoring
of media and social networks.
Another
group carried out legal analysis.
During
the visits to the police units, private interviews took place with 60 people that
had been apprehended or arrested.

persons were detained on suspicion of committing administrative offenses, and 9
persons - criminal offense.
The
results of the visits are being summarized.
