The Human Rights Defender continues to be
engaged in the humanitarian process of exchanging Armenian captives and dead
bodies as a result of Azerbaijani military attacks launched since September 27,
2020.
The Human Rights Defender is in constant
contact with the Armenian Ministry of Defense, International Committee of the
Red Cross, as well as with the family members and lawyers of the captives.
From the outset, the issues of ensuring our
compatriots' rights have been at the center of the attention of the Human
Rights Defender's Office on a 24-hour basis; all the necessary measures have
been undertaken within the Defender's mandate to the maximum extent possible.
