Today, the Human Rights
Defender Arman Tatoyan had a working meeting with the founder of the
international human rights organization “One Free World International”
Mr. Majed El Shafie and the member of the Parliament of Iceland Mr. Birgir Thorarinsson.
“The targeting of the
civilian population, the use of internationally prohibited weapons against
them, the involvement of terrorist mercenaries, Armenophobia, atrocities and
inhuman treatment of Azerbaijani armed forces show that a goal is set to carry
out ethnic cleansing in Artsakh by terroristic methods”, stated the Human
Rights Defender.
During the meeting Arman
Tatoyan presented facts about the atrocities and malicious acts by the
Azerbaijani armed forces against the peaceful population, including the use of
prohibited weapons, targeting civilians and large scale destruction of civilian
infrastructure.
The participants of the
meeting underlined the importance of cooperation in the field of human rights
protection and reached new agreements on cooperation.
