Today,
with the President of Armenia Mr. Armen Sargsyan, the Human Rights Defender Mr.
Arman Tatoyan visited the servicemen in the Central Clinical Military Hospital
of the Ministry of Defense, who had received wounds of different types from the
weapons of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Tavush region.
The
protection of the rights of military servicemen and their family members is at
the center of the Human Rights Defender’s attention and is a separate work
direction as well. Important issues were discussed with a number of servicemen
and medical personnel on the spot.
The
Unit for the Protection of Rights of Military Servicemen and Members of their
Families of the Defender’s Office will be in contact with the servicemen and
their families.
We
also emphasize the effective cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the
Republic of Armenia and the medical personnel serving in the armed forces.
The
Defender wished the servicemen a speedy recovery.
