The Human Rights Defender Mr. Arman
Tatoyan called on the citizens to fight together against the spread of the
pandemic. The Defender's message, in particular, reads:
“Dear compatriots,
We all need to be united in order to
overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic as soon as possible.
Let us work together, take
responsibility for maintaining the rules against the virus for the sake of our
children, our parents, our sisters, and our brothers, so that we can return to
normal life as soon as possible.
Phrasing the work of our specialists in
various fields fighting day and night against the coronavirus is not the
dissemination of their photos and videos with words of appreciation, but the
change in our behavior and real responsibility for each other.
I am confident that the sooner we come
together, the quicker we will overcome this challenge.
Throughout history, we have been able
to show unity and overcome seemingly insurmountable situations together.
During the calendar year, we have many
memorable days that we talk about and feel proud of our incredible victories.
Today, adding another day to this list is in the hands of each of us, as a consequence
of unity and solidarity.
Let us follow the prevention rules of
this virus, let us take care of each other, let us save lives.”
