I just saw an unacceptable, dehumanizing and
illegal post of a citizen about Ms. Tatevik Revazyan and her newborn baby girl.
This statement is completely hate speech - the
most condemnable phenomenon - with expressions that absolutely violate the
dignity of a woman who has become a mother. The hatred addressed to the newborn child is absolutely
condemnable.
Such activities should be completely eradicated,
and such persons should be held liable.
I urge social networks users to refrain from
using that person's post in their publications in order not to spread hate
speech and not to further publicize this person.
All necessary measures will be undertaken
within the Human Rights Defender’ competence, the issue will be at the center
of my attention.
I will provide additional information about the
steps undertaken tomorrow morning.
