Below are rules that concern
everyone, but are particularly important for the political majority enjoying
high level of trust and for every representative of this majority.
Insulting
speech and statements humiliating
human dignity are impermissible: they lead to dangerous consequences, increase
insult and level of hatred, as well as provoke violence.
This
is particularly mandatory for public office holders and persons who are engaged
in public activities; they should show restraint in political or other speeches,
exclude any statement that may generate hatred and invoke tension. This
similarly applies to political speech and discourse.
Speeches
and any behavior in the Parliament set examples for the society, whether we
like it or not.
Hence,
especially in the Parliament, the limits of their legal mandate should be
strictly observed that behavior will be subsequently contributing to the
atmosphere of solidarity and mutual respect in society.
Violence
or threats of violence are impermissible, regardless of who commits it, when or
to whom.
After
all, the goal of all of us is to eradicate insulting speech and statements humiliating human dignity and generating
hatred.
