The citizen requested the Human Rights
Defender’s support in postponing
the
investigative action with his participation considering the current situation
regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
He informed that although he is in self-isolation
with his minor children due to COVID-19
pandemic, the investigator carrying out preliminary investigation called him to
the investigative body.
Furthermore,
he is the sole caregiver of the children.
The Office of the Human Rights Defender
discussed the issue raised by the citizen with the investigative body, and the
envisaged investigative action was postponed.
