The citizen
applied for the Human Rights Defender’s support in organizing the transfer of
the three minor children of his sibling (in the age of 16, 14, and 10) to
Armenia.
He informed
that the children were at a relative's house in the town of Vyborg (Russian
Federation), while the mother of the children who had arrived in Armenia for a
short time, was unable to leave for the children due to the restrictions.
The representative
of the Human Rights Defender discussed the transfer of the children from Vyborg
to Moscow, and from Moscow to Armenia through the flight scheduled on April 12
with the RA Consulate General Consulate and Embassy in the Russian Federation,
as well as with the representatives of the Consulate in Saint Petersburg.
Later on, the
Consulate in Saint Petersburg contacted the Defender’s Office and informed that
they would transfer the children to Moscow by the Consulate car, where the
representatives of the RA Embassy in the Russian Federation would meet them and
see them off to Armenia.
As a result of
cooperation, the children are already in Armenia.
