As part of her working visit to Shirak Region, on December
26, the Human Rights Defender Ms. Anahit Manasyan visited the “Child and Family
Support Center of Shirak Region” SNCO under the Ministry of Labour and Social
Affairs.
The Defender met with children, familiarized herself with
development-oriented programs, and inquired about their daily lives. A tour of
the facility was conducted to assess the progress made in addressing previously
identified issues recorded during a monitoring visit. A number of problems
previously recorded by the Defender have been resolved.
At the end of the visit, the Defender Ms. Anahit Manasyan
handed over gifts to the children.
