The Lori sub-division of the Human Rights Defender's
Office hosted the participants of the "Good Citizen" platform
implemented by the “NGO Center” civil society development non-governmental
organization.
Ms. Zarine Hovhannisyan, Head of the Lori sub-division of
the Human Rights Defender's Office, presented to the youth the history of the
Office, the Defender's functions, and the procedure for applying to the
Defender.
The meeting was held in a Q&A format: the
participants raised issues of concern to them.
Meetings with students from educational institutions and
representatives of non-governmental organizations at the Human Rights
Defender’s Office, including in the regional departments, are ongoing.
