The Human
Rights Defender referred to the inadmissibility of violence against the family
members of advocate Seda Safaryan and a number of other persons. The Defender
noted:
“The violence that, according to the
publications, was used against the family members of advocate Ms. Seda Safaryan
and a number of other people is condemnable in any case.
As Ms.
Seda Safaryan suspects that the case might be connected with her professional
activities, this issue should be primarily examined within criminal proceeding.
It will remain in the center of my attention.
Yesterday
I could not talk to Ms. Safaryan. Today I will contact her again. I also
discussed the issue with Mr. Ara Zohrabyan, the Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates."
