The Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen (l’Association des Ombudsmans de la Méditerranée – l’AOM) was founded in 2008.
The main purpose of the Association is to protect and promote the principles of democracy and rule of law, as well as to raise citizens' awareness of their rights and obligations.
Since 2010, the Republic of Armenia is a Full Member of the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen.
