On March 5, the Office of the Human Rights
Defender of Armenia in cooperation with Kaspersky company organized a seminar on
"Adults and Children in the Digital World" for computer science
teachers of secondary schools.
Computer science teachers from around 100
secondary schools of Yerevan participated in the seminar. During the seminar, issues
related to the safety of children in the digital environment and the protection
of their rights were discussed. It was particularly emphasized that children
are the most vulnerable group in the digital environment and their security, as
well as special attention should be given to protection of their rights.
Digital environment has a profound impact on
children's lives, therefore it is especially important to raise awareness of
computer science teachers on this issue, so that the best interest of child is
considered in every situation.
Seminars for teachers will be continuous and
