A citizen under house arrest applied to the Human Rights Defender’s Office, informing that due to the restrictions applied to them, they cannot personally appear at the post office to send a letter.
As a result of monitoring of the mass media and social media networks by the Human Rights Defender’s Office, information was recorded that on July 6, 2026, Mr. Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party, was arrested.
On July 7, during her working visit to Strasbourg, the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Ms. Anahit Manasyan, met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Michael O’Flaherty.
